5 Things I Want To Help My Audience With
My blog exists to help people improve their home life. There are many things that make up our life at home, so my mission is to find easier ways to keep up with everything and without feeling stressed. Here are some of the things you’ll find on my blog:
- Helpful hints for the home
How do you keep everything organized and overcome the overwhelm? What’s the most efficient way to clean and maintain your home and the things in it? What are some simple steps to be more environmentally friendly? Can you repair items instead of replacing them? How can you simplify your things and your routines? Where do you store everything?
Find tips to make things run more smoothly and accomplish what’s most important. I’ll share what works for me (and what doesn’t!). I’ll walk you through the processes that I use to improve my home life. I’ve learned a lot from my family and friends, and I’ll pass on the best advice I’ve received.
- How to organize your finances and make the best use of your money
I think I was born with the penny-pinching gene. Even as a kid, I would save my money. I love a good bargain. But I had to learn to be balanced between having a wise amount saved and also using some of my hard-earned for things I enjoy. I have also learned that a good price is not always a bargain. Find out what that means.
Learn to budget and save for what you need and want. Don’t worry; I won’t tell you that giving up your daily latte will help you pay off your mortgage in three years or less. (Although you could save a good amount if you make your own at home. Just saying.) There are ways to save on bigger expenses that won’t cause any pain at all.
And you’ll learn how to be a smart shopper – what, when, how and where to shop. This includes buying boring things like insurance. Do you really need it? What does it cover? And most of all, how can you save money on this necessary evil?
- Healthy living for busy people.
Of course being healthy means eating nutritiously, so we’ll discover ways to include healthy foods in your family’s meals. Meal planning can save time and money, and it makes it easier to eat more healthy. Find simple ways to plan your meals and even prepare them ahead of time to have them ready for busy weeknights.
Avoiding toxins can be a challenge. What are some reasonable ways to reduce your exposure to common household items that can be harmful to your health?
- Managing your time and energy.
Time is something we never seem to have enough of. Discover ways to use your time wisely and not waste it unnecessarily. Are you easily distracted? Find ways to keep focused and avoid distractions. We’ll discuss more efficient ways of cleaning, organizing, and shopping (especially for groceries, that seems to take endless hours!).
By making your routines more efficient, you can make time for the things that are important to you: your family, hobbies, relaxation, or even a project you’ve been putting off. Spend less time on the things you have to do (the boring stuff) so you have time for things you want to do (the fun stuff).
- Enjoying travel
Who doesn’t enjoy travel? Well, actually there are some people that fall in that category, but I’m not one of them! Of course, right now is not the ideal time for traveling, but why not make plans now for the time when you will be able to travel? Planning can be a lot of fun, and it can make your trip go more smoothly. Explore destinations, find ways to save money, and look for sites that are off the beaten path. Find out how and what to pack (and what to leave at home), how to stay safe and healthy, and how to save money while enjoying your trip.
